Keeley's first haircut

My mom (Gaga) offered to get Keeley her first haircut. So, we took her up on the offer and went to Little Clippers in Clackamas. The place was so cute. It was full of little cars for kids to sit in to get their hair cut and was equipped at each station with a DVD/VCR player. They had a huge list of movies and shows for them to choose from. I chose My Little Pony for Keeley. During her haircut another little boy had Dora going and it was hard for her to focus though. There were video games and tons of toys for kids to crawl in and play with so it was perfect for Kiera too. We made it an outing Kyle and I brough Kiera and my mom!

This is Keeley's hair at its finest all poofed out! Here is some of Kyles fancy photography through the mirror.

So pretty! She sat so still. She chose the little pink car to sit in and Miss Kim was her stylist. She was very nice and patient with Keeley.

My mom and I watching her get her hair done.

So pretty! Keeley chose the pink flowers for her hair. It was all put up in french braids and had sparkles in it.

She looks so cute!

All said and done, there was not very much hair taken off. I was surprised. My mom got a certificate as well with about half this much hair and that was it! Maybe they were trying to not shock us. She kept checking in with me....is this too much? I was just really tired of all the dead ends!

Some time to play after!

My little cutey is growing up! Sniff sniff.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope that everyone is having a very restful Thanksgiving holiday. I know I am. Kyle, the girls and I had a very restful morning together. We get so little family time we really appreciate it when we get some time. Then, we went to my mom and Dave's house for dinner. I made the green bean casserole and some garlic dip. Unca was there and my mom's friends Mark and Arlene were there too.
My mom bought the girls the Tinkerbell movie so they had fun watching movies and playing.

Unca is a good sport and spent some time coloring with Keeley!

My precious Kiera. She has a scratch on her head from a baby her age at daycare. They brawl everyday!

I am thankful for:

My blog fixed itself

I was having difficulties getting the October fun blog's pictures to line up. When I signed back on, they were fixed. I hope I don't get on again to have it not lined up again. Very weird. Now I just have to log back on to get a picture on the top like eveyone else. How the heck do you all do that?

Chard Look-alike Meter

I saw this chart on a friend of mines blog and thought it would be fun. Now people who knew me growing up say that Keeley looks like me as a child and the people who knew Kyle growing up saw that she looks like him. I kind of think she looks like him with my hair. There are a few pictures of her that look a bit like me though. Now, Kiera on the other hand looks pretty much like me although she has her daddy's temperment (Keeley is a bit more like me....) Well, enjoy!

October fun!

October was a lot of fun at our house. We had 3 trips to a pumpkin patch, a gymboree halloween party, and of course trick or treating. At the pumpkin patch, Keeley and Kiera had a lot of fun picking out pumpkins, riding on a merry-go-round, blowing bubbles, and they got to go on their first pony rides. Papa (Kyle's dad) came out to visit so he was there for one of the pumpkin patch visits and for decorating them which was an adventure in itself!

Trick or treating ended up happening in our neighborhood and the McClelland neighborhood. It was a ton of fun. Keeley was a ladybug and Kiera was the baby elephant, Sami.
